It has been a quite an experience driving out of Kiev to visit this green tourism site near Ukraine's capital. Called a horse ranch 'Cossacks Outpost', this place came at the end of our stay in Ukraine. We were attracted by comments on the web-site and it also comes up in Google search for 'green tourism' and 'Cossacks'. The reality of staying in Raykovschina (the name of the village may translate as 'heavenly place') is mostly about being and feeling the real countryside of Ukraine, with its unforgettable beauty and hospitality of the local people. Our hosts, English-speaking Yuri and Natasha, have taken an enourmously great care of our family and provided tasty meals as well as lessons in horse-riding. We learned a lot about a rich historic heritage of Yagotyn area and the host speaking English was of a great advantage.

This place is convenient for a quiet group rest, with possibility of travelling into Kiev and even such exotic places as Chernobyl Nuclear station which we did not do this time but if we come back we may consider going there. Overall, the hospitality was great, food all cooked in natural conditions and most is locally grown, so it was all fresh. Thank you hosts, for your great work!
