Group "Felling" was established in 1991 Mikhail Таничем and Sergey Коржуковым. During the existence of the group was issued no less than 21 album, including two after the death of Mikhail Tanich. Mostly songs are performed under the sounds of a guitar, an accordion, drum. The sound of the band features a powerful energy, strong vocals and originality of poems.

In the songs "Logging" paid great importance to the lyrical content, which is based on a story about freedom, labor camps, a life of crime, and sometimes other themes such as peace and love. Mikhail Танич said that the six years he spent in the Soviet labor camps, gave him the opportunity to explore and experience all aspects of life of crime, and that his task was to find some kind of positive traits in the people connected with the criminal world.

In music, the group uses a style of Russian bard (author's) song, which has a strong vocal with guitar accompaniment. Musicians combine these traditions using the accordion, synthesizer, and drums.
