In Kiev will perform John Patitucci is an American jazz double bassist and bass guitarist. The musician will perform at part of a guitar Quartet with him will play guitarists Adam Rogers and Steve Cardenas, and drummer Nate Smith.
The concert will take place on 14 may in the House of culture of the CRPD. Beginning at 19:00. Tickets are already on sale – 200-950 UAH.
In the world of music John Patitucci performs in several guises – from classical and Afro-Cuban style to Blues, pop and jazz that manages few bassists. The collaboration with Chick Corea in the 80-ies brought Patitucci international fame, and now he is one of the most popular musicians in the world.
John Patitucci took part in the recordings of famous musicians such as B. B. king, Wayne shorter, Herbie Hancock, Michael Brecker, Bon Jovi, Sting and others. By the mid-1980s, through the work in groups Elektric Band and Akoustic Band, Patitucci talked about as an incredibly talented bass player. While working as a session musician, John worked on his own solo projects. So, his solo album by John Patitucci released in 1988 and was in the top ranks of jazz rating of Billboard.
