Sorochinskaya fair 2013

National Sorochinskaya fair 2013 the year will be held from 20 to 25 August. The largest in Ukraine fair in the village of Velikie Sorochintsy Mirgorod district will present its products producers from across the country.

Village Velikie Sorochintsy (Sorochintsy) in Poltava region since the XIX century is known as a the venue of the most colorful fairs in Ukraine. Special popularity was acquired after the publication of the famous novel "Sorochinskaya fair" Ukrainian writer N. Gogol, who was born in Sorochintsy.

Now the event under the brand "Сорочинський fairs" is not just a large shopping holiday, where its products are leading enterprises from Ukraine and other countries. This is a bright theatrical performance with the participation of the heroes of the works of N. Gogol and folklore groups, as well as vast concert and entertainment program.

Date Sorochinskaya fair 2013, as usual, is scheduled on the penultimate weekend of August. The solemn opening of the fair will take place on Tuesday, August 20, at 11:00.

Annually Sorochyntsi fair visits up to a million people. It is participated by up to 1500 enterprises, entrepreneurs and craftsmen from Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Georgia, Belarus, Germany and Poland.

Sorochinskaya fair 2013 will be held as usual on a large trade area on the outskirts of the village of Sorochintsy.
