Strawberry festival in Izyum

In the city of Izyum, Kharkiv region 8 June will be held the annual strawberry festival. Usually it is celebrated on the second Saturday of June, which accounts for the peak harvest berries.

Inhabitants of the district centre Raisins proud of their city and they with love call it "strawberry capital" of Ukraine. They argue that cultivating the best and the largest strawberries in the world.

Strawberry festival in Izyum will begin approximately at 9:00 in the morning. On the square in front of the rayon state administration begin an exhibition of strawberries. Here berries of different varieties can be purchased at affordable prices.

The main event will be a celebration a record of Ukraine. It is planned to cook half a ton of strawberry jam and treat them to the guests of the festival.

Ukrainian pop stars of the festival were not invited, but come already loved изюмчанам vocal-instrumental ensemble from Dnepropetrovsk.
