With wide open doors

May 18 is world Museum day, when these institutions worldwide is free of charge. View information about when the Kiev museums arrange free entry throughout the year.

 

National art Museum of Ukraine (St Michael Hrushevskoho 6) – free entrance on the last Sunday of the month, but only for pupils, students and pensioners.

 

Kyiv national Museum of Russian art and the Museum of arts. Bogdan and Varvara Khanenko (str 15-17) – free admission on the first Wednesday of the month before 14:00 for all. Students have free access to the Museum is free every Sunday of the month. Also this Saturday they continue to work in the mode of the Day of museums.

 

National Museum of history of Ukraine (Vladimir, 2) – free entrance every last Monday of the month.

 

The national Museum of literature of Ukraine (the face of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, 11) – free for all on the last Wednesday of the month.

 

The Museum of hetmanship (Spasskaya, 16-b) on the last Saturday of the month free entrance for everyone as well as every Saturday students can visit it for free.

 

Literary-memorial house-Museum of Taras Shevchenko bul. Shevchenko, 12) and Memorial house-Museum of Shevchenko (vyshgorodskaya, 5) – free entry on the last Thursday of the month.

 

Museum of theatrical, musical and cinema art of Ukraine (lavrska street, 9, bld. 26) and the Museum of Ukrainian decorative arts – free entrance on the last Monday of the month.

 

National science and natural history Museum of NAS of Ukraine (Bohdan Khmelnytsky str., 15) is free you can come to all the first Wednesday of the month from 10:00 to 13:00.

 

The recycling Museum (St. Sahaidak, 112) – entrance to the Museum is free for all and always.

 

The Museum of book and printing of Ukraine (lavrska str., 9, body 9 and 10) – on the last Monday of the month students go for free.

 

National center of folk culture "Ivan Honchar Museum" (St. Ivan Mazepa, 29) – on the map of Kiev can have free access to the Museum every Wednesday. For pupils and students free entry to every Sunday.
