Between Kiev and Kremenchug will run double-Decker train

"Ukrzaliznytsia" will put the Skoda train on the route Poltava-Kremenchug-Kiev from December 25, 2015. This is one of two two-storey Skoda trains that Ukraine purchased as part of the preparation to football championship Euro 2012.

The train will run with comfort class transportation "intercity+".

 

The launch of the second train is planned not earlier than March, 2016 on the same route.

 

Two-storey interregional train Skoda is suitable for high-speed passenger transportation in cars of the raised comfort, with a maximum operating speed up to 160 km/h. The total number of seats on the train — 636, including 1 grade — 46, 2nd class — 590.

 

Ukraine just bought a two-storey Skoda trains in preparation for football championship Euro-2012. The cost of each is about 20 million euros.
