Since the beginning of this week in the Centre of Ukrainian Culture and Art, which is located in the Podolsk district, launched the exhibition of Petrykivka painting "Petrykivka - the soul of Ukraine". This is the second in the history of the Center, the exhibition represents a unique art Petrykivka painting, and its peculiarity lies in the fact that for the first time the exhibition halls of the collected works of six famous Ukrainian artists who work with this technique.
Note, December 5, 2013 Petrikov painting was included in the list of intangible cultural heritage of humanity by UNESCO. This is a great event for Ukraine, because UNESCO is only interested in the achievements of mankind, who were born in ancient times and passed on from generation to generation.
At the exhibition the artist has presented "malovky" (works on paper), paintings on canvas, painted towels, dishes, household items, decorated Petrykivka painting, as well as books about Petrikov painting and installation of Petrykivka birds of the world.
Note that on 24 January at 13:00 everyone will be able to participate in master classes for adults during which the artist participating in the exhibition will share the secrets of Petrykivka painting.
