AT the FESTIVAL "Ribbon" will be NOMINATED FOR a GOLDEN GLOBE

Festival of modern electronic music "Ribbon", which starts on may 21 in Kiev art-center Closer, has announced the first bands line-APU.

 

"Stroke" will open with speeches by internationally renowned musicians, including German Alva Noto – nominee of the award "Golden globe" for the soundtrack to the film "Supernatural" and founder of the experimental label raster-noton. Also at the festival will play a Mexican musician Murcof, known for its minimalistic electronics.

 

On the dance floors of the festival visitors will be able to hear that famous American DJ BONE and DJ JUS-ED.

 

The organizers of the "Ribbons" noted that the summer also are planning to arrange a festival, but details about it will be announced later.

 

"Ribbon" for the third time will be held in Closer. The name of the festival took over from the former strokedashcap factory, in the room which is now the art center.
