15-16 August To Ieva festival # USAinUA , where guests can enjoy traditional American cuisine, listen and dance to country, rock-n-roll and jazz, to look at vintage cars.

"For the generation of Perestroika, and for many subsequent generations, there is a country – a dream. This Is America. To each is their own and the Association may be different. And, perhaps unfairly, that our acquaintance with the United States is limited to hamburgers, cowboys and pop culture. To learn more about the history and traditions of America, authentic American food, listen to music and dance is only a small part of what awaits visitors to the Festival #USAinUA, " says event organizer Katerina Staroska.

Contrary to popular opinion, in the USA, in addition to the world famous street food, has its own authentic cuisine. At the festival it will be possible not only to try the "wings-uganski", chili con carne and a real cheesecake "new York", but also learn how to correct frying burgers and steaks under the guidance of chefs restaurants of Kiev.

Country, Blues, jazz, rock-n-roll, disco, hip-hop, house only a small part of the genres in which the world is indebted to the United States. The festival guests will have the unique opportunity to trace the development of musical culture in performances of music and dance groups. Everyone will participate in dance workshops, and even in this hip-hop battle. In addition, the date of the festival coincides with the day of memory of Elvis Presley, and therefore offers an unforgettable sight ― the doubles competition legends of rock ' n ' roll, where the judges will make the viewers themselves.

For lovers of automotive vehicles, the organizers prepared a special surprise ― an exhibition of American vintage cars.

Young guests of the festival also will not be bored. Animators superheroes, school boy scouts, master-classes on making Indian amulets ― all this awaits in the children's area of the festival. And adult gamers will compete in accuracy at the Championships Darts and shooting. The most desperate will be able to feel like real cowboys, riding a mechanical bull.

 

At the festival will not only entertain, but also to broaden your horizons. In a public lecture hall a live performance of experienced speakers on a variety of topics. Fashion and politics, business and music, history and technique ― each will choose the direction of his interest, will be able to attend the lecture and participate in discussions. Their knowledge can Shine on "Quiz USA" and win prizes.

Festival of Ukrainian-American friendship #USAinUA will be held at the exhibition gallery "Atmosphere" at Metropolitan highway 103. Cost of attendance for adults will be 50 USD. Children under 12 years old are free.
