The Hasidim in Ukrainian Uman today celebrate the Jewish New year - Rosh Hashanah. According to their calendar, it will be 5775 year. The celebration will be held from Wednesday (evening), September 24, to Friday (evening), September 26.

 

On the time Tuesday evening, September 23, Uman already paid a pilgrimage to 13 000 Hasidim, among which 1134 child and 20 women. Guests came from six countries: Israel, Germany, USA, France, great Britain and Canada.

 

Despite the tense situation in Ukraine, is expected to arrive on holiday record number of Hasidim from 25 countries will come 35,000 people.

 

In Wednesday morning will begin the ritual of worship - supporters of Hasidism will hold a prayer that will last from morning to evening.
