"Holy eggs" in the Sofia square!

Very soon, at 12:00 on April 23, on St. Sophia square will start "pysanky Festival", during which you will see 374 huge unusual Easter eggs, hand painted. Some artists already reveal the secret and show in social networks the results of their creations. For example, Yuriy Bondarchuk will present the "Cosmic egg".

"The egg is a symbol of new life. On one side I depicted the birth, the arising of our Universe. On the other – our milky way galaxy (two suns). And on top of the egg you can see our planet," – said about his work the author, adding that it is made in the technique of oil and acrylic painting.
