Kiev begins to celebrate his birthday

 

Today in the capital start the celebrations on the occasion of the day of Kyiv and the capital Day. So, starts may 25 XXV international festival "Musical premieres of the season", the opening of which will take place at the National Philharmonic of Ukraine.

The festival scheduled for about 15 events: symphonic, chamber, choral concerts, press conferences, scientific-practical conference "modern Ukrainian music at the intersection of global trends", master-classes, round tables and meetings with artists.

May 28, residents and guests of the capital will see the solemn ceremony of awarding Art award "Kiev", where the best artists and their achievements will be marked by the city authorities, fellow artists and appreciative audiences and fans.

Rich festive events will be days from 29 may to 1 June. The epicentre, as planned, will become the Sophia square, where for three days will be held all-Ukrainian ballroom dance festival "give Kiev waltz".

Competition waltz will be held in three age categories: children, youth and adults. Participation in the festival will feature bands, clubs, schools ballroom dance sport. To dance the waltz can be anyone in a special area, which already began to mount Sophia area.

In addition to the festival waltz, residents and guests of the capital can visit many other interesting and unusual events.

So, on may 29 will be a mass flashmob with colored umbrellas, the posting of the colors green symbol of the city – chestnut leaf, and evening open-air screening at the Sofia area.

May 30, the city invites all residents to join the anthem of the capital "How not to love you, my Kiev" to set the record. There, in the spiritual center of the capital will be a presentation of the Kyiv municipal brass band and light show.

May 31, Kiev is waiting for dance program "waltz of the flowers", a performance by a jazz band Alexander Fokin.

In addition, to the Day of Kyiv in the capital is expected to host three-day international competitions, parade, sailing regatta, the city Cup on aeronautic sports, League city family sports, Kyiv Cup beach soccer, as well as the twenty-third sports charity "Run under chestnuts".
