In Kiev Frunze street was St. Cyril

The city Council renamed the street Frunze street St. Cyril, returning to her thus historical name.

 

For decision at the meeting on January 22 voted 77 deputies.

 

As you know, Frunze street (now St. Cyril) passes through the Obolon, Shevchenko and Podolsky districts of the capital.

 

As you know, November 20, part of the street Institute was renamed the alley of Heroes Heavenly Hundreds.

 

At the meeting of November 13, the city Council has renamed 10 streets and one square in Kiev.

 

In January Kiev also called for the renaming of the Dzerzhinsky square on Lybidska and streets of Metalheads on the street Michael Braychevsky.

 

26 February ongoing public discussion of draft decisions of the city Council to rename three of Lenin (in Darnytskyi, Desnyanskiy and Solomenskiy district) and the Artem street in the Shevchenko district.
