8-9 may in Kiev will be held the memorial and a ceremony in celebration of the Day of memory and reconciliation and the victory Day over Nazism in the Second world war.

The official slogan of the commemorative events this year – "1939-1945. Remember. Win."

 

In particular, on may 8 at the independence square from 9.00 to 19.00 is scheduled to hold a flash mob "Draw Win". Participation is open to children, adolescents, families.

 

From 10.00 to 20.00 provided by the concerts of masters of arts, art and Amateur groups, the presentation of the festival "Chervona Ruta", the concerts of rock bands, poetry, song, DJs, master classes and flash mobs. The events will take place from the street to the alley of Heroes Heavenly Hundred on Maidan Nezalezhnosti, European square, square near the arch of Friendship of peoples, the metro station "Arsenalna", the square of Fame, in the beginning of the Boulevard Shevchenko, on Trinity square, and the Kontraktova square.

 

This day also vysokovoltniy festival "ПЕРЕМОГА.UA" that can be arranged on the track "Pirogovo" (vul. Perosi path, 188). The event starts at 11.00.

 

At 14.00 in the "Mystetskyi Arsenal" is scheduled to meet President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko with veterans of the Soviet army, the soldiers of the Ukrainian insurgent army, members of the antiterrorist operation in the East of Ukraine.

 

At 22.45 will start the action "First minute of peace" and the lighting of the flame of memory in the National Museum complex "Ukraine in world war II".

 

May 9 event will start at 9: 00 with a ceremony of laying flowers to the tomb of the Unknown Soldier on the Hill of Glory with the participation of the President of Ukraine.

 

At 9.15 state the action "we Remember – we win!", in the framework of which there will be a solemn March of military bands of the Armed forces of Ukraine, General staff of the Ministry of internal Affairs, Border troops, Navy from Slavy Square to Independence Square.

 

From 10.00 to 12.00 the announced concert of Patriotic songs and a parade of military brass bands, Mat, MIA, National guard, Navy, Border troops on Maidan Nezalezhnosti.

 

During the day, in the city center will also conduct master classes and flash mobs.

 

From 19.00 to 21.00 in the main square of the capital will take place the concert of the National academic brass orchestra with the participation of Opera stars.

 

In addition, it is noted that on may 7 in Kiev at the international airport Boryspil (Terminal D) will open the exhibition "Ukrainian world". On this day at the Independence square will also open the exhibition street version of the exhibition "Ukrainian world".
