In Kiev will host a festival of walruses

19 January on the occasion of the feast of the Epiphany in Kiev will be held the Festival of walruses “МоржиFest”. At the event, residents and visitors can participate in folk festivals, in the rite of consecration of the water, to plunge into the baptismal font and to type Holy water.

 

The program not only bathing in the sanctified Dnieper, but also master classes on " winter swimming Vladimir Goltis. In addition visitors will see the flash mob FunUp, smokable, tubing, Puttering, demonstration performance on Quad bikes and bugs, cross-country skiing, ATV-Quad hire, archery shooting , ran with the use of the obstacle course, battle of snowmen, and the most striking event of the day with a swim in the icy water in the breaststroke.

 

The organizers of the event are the extreme Park "X-PARK" in conjunction with "RhinoPark", PJSC "AK "Kyivvodocanal", the Department of culture of the KSCA Club and winter swimming “Polar bear”.

12:00 – gathering and registration of participants

13:00 – consecration of the hole and the official part with congratulations

14:00 – FunUp and warm-up

14:20 – start run with obstacle course

15:00 – swim in the hole on the distance and speed

17:00 – awarding of winners
