In case of joining of Crimea to Russia and transition to ruble, the flow of tourists to its spas will not change significantly, however, the price of leisure in the Crimea will be equal to the Krasnodar territory, told the portal "Interfax-Tourism", the Vice-President of Association of tour operators of Russia (ATOR) Ilya Umansky.
"I think that the transition to rouble direct effect on the number of tourists. Another issue is that when joining the Crimea to Russia will certainly arise costs: other taxes, rates, service charges and so on. This may affect the value of tourist products," - he explained.
I. Umansky noted that now the prices of products in the Crimea by 20-25% lower than in the Krasnodar region.
"Actually, it is precisely the difference in costs, which are entrepreneurs in the Crimea and the Krasnodar Krai. In case of joining autonomy to the Russian prices on vacation in Crimea and in the Krasnodar region will gradually be eliminated. No evidence that the cost was different," he concluded.
