The reduction of excise duties on used cars was postponed until better times

The adoption of the bill №3251 about reducing the excise tax for used cars to the level of new cars has been postponed until next year.

The Verkhovna Rada adopted amendments to the Tax code and the budget by 2016 without changes to existing excise taxes.

 

We will remind, the bill №3251 "On stimulation of development of the market for used vehicles," contains a provision to reduce the excise tax for used cars several times from 1 January of the following year.

 

According to one of the authors of the bill Robert Horvath, the Parliament will return to consideration of a question not before the spring of 2016.
