Restart Chernobyl zone.

The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky has signed a decree that will define the steps to reload the zone of alienation in Chernobyl. For this reason, it will become an official tourist attraction on the site of the worst nuclear accident and the place more accessible for tourist visits.

 

The first plans to create a green corridor for tourists.

Also in the Chernobyl exclusion zone will build the waterway, new check points, develop new walking routes and will cancel the restrictions on photos and video of Chernobyl. In addition, the government will introduce measures to reduce corruption and introduce to visitors a system of electronic tickets.

 

Vladimir Zelensky said that Chernobyl is a unique place on the planet where nature is reborn after a huge man-made disaster. He believes that we should show this to the world: scientists, environmentalists, historians and tourists. According to the President, Chernobyl was a negative part of the Ukrainian brand and it's time to change that.
