Ukraine tourist season does not cancel

Despite the political situation in the Ukraine the local tourist industry continues to prepare for the summer season. One of the Central events - international travel exhibition UITT 2014, as planned, will take place in Kiev at the International exhibition centre on 26-28 March.

Head of exhibitions, commercial Director of the company «Premier Expo» Irina Коршуненко reported RATA-news that almost immediately after the cessation of armed confrontation in the heart of the Ukrainian capital all the partners and participants of UITT was sent a letter confirming that the exhibition will be held. «Today there is no cause for concern about the safety of the participants. This year for participation in UITT was planned to be 658 participants from 61 countries. However, due to the political situation his arrival in Kiev abolished several national tourism offices, including Italy, Hungary, Czech Republic. In particular, it was stated by more than half of the companies representing the Hungarian stand, also everybody is waiting for its decision to reconsider the Czechs.
