More than half of white collar workers are planning a vacation this summer. As before, preference is given to the sea coast in Ukraine. The popularity of overseas holidays significantly decreased. On this later — in the new survey of International HR portal HeadHunter Ukraine.
Despite the protracted crisis, the mood of the Ukrainians in respect of leave has changed. The situation is "stable but poorly" office staff began boldly to make plans for the summer. If last year's summer holiday was planning a record low number of white collar workers — 41%, now their number has increased markedly and is 56%. Against this background decreased the number of those who are undecided.
In 2014, in their vacation plans doubted almost a third of respondents. Now in the situation of uncertainty is every fifth. Nearly a quarter of office workers do not plan a summer vacation. Your decision is explained by the lack of financial capacity and need a lot of work.
Among those who plan to go on holiday, one in five is still a preference for the coast on the territory of Ukraine. But in foreign countries this year less popular. If a year ago outside of Ukraine had a rest every fourth, now abroad is going to go only one out of six respondents. Primarily, this is due to the deteriorating financial situation of the Ukrainians. For the same reason, almost one in ten office worker will spend the summer at the cottage or in the village. And the same will go to the Carpathians.
The negative trend has continued in the Crimea. Last year on the Peninsula was ripped off the holiday season. Then went to 7% of tourists compared to 24% in 2013. Now on the Crimean coast is planning to go even smaller — only three out of a hundred respondents.
Most popular countries for holidays abroad – Turkey, Bulgaria and Montenegro. Fourth place is shared by Spain and Egypt. And closes the five of leaders Italy. Sixth in popularity — Greece. Less attractive to tourists this year was Georgia. First place in 2014 she moved to seventh in 2015.
Data were obtained through a survey conducted by Research center for International personnel portal hh.ua in June 2015. In the survey participated 3647 respondents.
