The bell tower of the assumption Cathedral welcomes visitors!

Over 10 years the highest bell tower was closed for restoration, and visitors had the opportunity to climb one of the most recognizable and the most impressive monuments of the architectural ensemble of Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.

And finally, after a significant amount of research and restoration works carried out over the past five years, from March 27, 2015 Bell tower of the assumption Cathedral is open for inspection.

Everyone will be able to climb the Bell tower every day from 9.30 to 17.00 and from the height of bird's flight to explore the beautiful landscapes of the ancient and eternally young Kiev.

The entrance ticket for inspection of the Bell tower is 35 UAH grace (for students of secondary schools, students, full-time students and pensioners) - 15 UAH.

The bell tower of the assumption Cathedral built in 1731-1745 in accordance with the project architect and engineer Johann Gottfried schedel and is a four-tiered octagonal tower 96.5 meters.
