Botanical garden in Crimea invites to the exhibition of tulips

In Nikitsky Botanical garden near Yalta began the season of blossoming tulips. The garden was an exhibition "Hit 80-H. Flower city streets", which presents 203 cultivars.

All visitors of the Nikitsky Botanical garden will be able to see about 80 thousand of blossoming tulips. 45 varieties of these spring flowers innovations in the collection of the garden, reported on its website. In Nikitsky Botanical garden tulips are grown since its founding in 1811. Since 1961 here is conducted the work on their breeding. Exhibition of tulips will last until mid-may.

Nikitsky Botanical garden is one of the oldest research institutions of Russia, and then Ukraine, as well as popular Yalta attraction. The garden occupies the territory between the village of Nikita and the Black sea.
