The Council of Ministers of Crimea held a meeting on preparation and holding the XXIII International tourist fair «Crimea. Resorts. Tourism. 2014». It presented the program of the Minister of resorts and tourism of the ARC, Alexander Lie Resort transfers and information centre. Opening the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the ARC Georgy Psarev noted that the fair is the main tourist event of the Peninsula. «One of the main tasks for the upcoming holiday season - the continued systematic work on expansion of borders,» said Georgy Psarev. According to him, an effective tool for expanding the scope of the season is active and event tourism. Therefore, this priority areas will be dedicated to the fair.
However, Alexander Lie informed that the official opening of  fair will be held on February 25. «Will be held in the format of the forum was broadcast live on the website of the Internet-TV СТ.fm. Last year such broadcasting and recording seen more than 13,5 thousand people from 83 countries of the world», - noted Alexander Lie. According to him, one of the Central events of the fair will be the III international black sea tourism forum. This year it will be devoted to the creation of joint tourist products of the Black sea countries for tourists from China, Japan, South Korea, Canada and USA.
Also the exhibition will host a workshop «Season-2014 - effective sales», which will be a platform for discussion of current issues in the upcoming season and will help unite the efforts of the Crimean tourist industry in the promotion of the tourist product of the Peninsula. In addition, the scheduled series of «round tables», master-classes and presentations. Among them: «round tables» on categorization of objects of tourist infrastructure, development of medical tourism, attracting European investments in the modernization of the health resorts and infrastructure. Also there will be an international forum for information technology in tourism.
The fair will be summed up the results of competitions for the best advertising slogan of the holiday season 2014, «prima Crimean tourism» and «Kaleidoscope of the wonders of the Crimea», the presentation of calendar plan of trainings for 2014 Educational and training center for training in the sphere of tourism and resorts.
