Memorable sign in Kherson in honor of the memory of the heroes of Maidan

March 30, 2014 in the day of the 40th day in Kherson on Freedom square was held at the prayer service for the Heavenly hundred killed during protests in the center of Kiev, gathered several thousand residents of the city and region-official website reported Kherson regional state administration. The Liturgy was celebrated by the clergy of the Church denominations in the Kherson region, headed by Archbishop John, the Manager of Kherson and Crimea eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Clerics called on the believers to pray for the repose of the souls of dead people on the square of heroes, for God's grace to their families, and for all Ukraine.

In honor of the memory of the Heroes of Maidan was opened a memorial sign.

 

 

 

 

On the square, young people were holding a 700-metre towel, which last week the 70th anniversary of the Foundation of the Kherson region on Antonovskaja bridge of the city «tied» two shores of the Dnieper. It symbolized the unity of Ukraine.
