According to him, the decline in tourist arrivals due to the political situation in Ukraine, where Russian tourists cancel the booking. "In the course of the new year holidays and filling Crimean hotels and resorts influenced by the political situation in the country, which resulted in a number of failures of Russian tourists from previously booked rest, - noted in the message. - Objects of accommodation and tour operators say that the peak of the failure was in December of last year. Since the beginning of this year the situation has stabilized and we have already recorded a growth in tourist arrivals from Russia".
According to the Ministry of resorts and tourism, from 1 January 9 Crimea was visited by 39 thousand tourists. Last year on the Peninsula rested 5 million 903 thousand people.
