The leader of the Quartet, Artem Vasil'chenko, saxophonist and composer, a native of Kharkov. The first 6 years played the violin, and then switched to clarinet and saxophone. At the age of 15 years Artem was transferred to Kharkov music College. Boris Lyatoshynsky. While studying at the College, he received the second prize in the national competition in Kherson and the Grand Prix at the all-Ukrainian competition in Dnepropetrovsk.

In addition, Artem Vasil'chenko participant of the 1-St, 3-rd, 4-th and 5-th Kharkiv International Jazz festival KHARKIV ZA JAZZ FEST, participant of the Festival in Koktebel 2008, JAZZBEZ 2010 and many others.
