Poland has simplified the visa regime for Ukrainians

Poland adopted a decision on simplifying the visa regime for tourists from Ukraine. This agreement was reached in Lviv during the Ukrainian-Polish consultations on consular and legal issues.
 
This is with reference to the information policy Department of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine reports TSN.
 
In particular, beginning may 15 of this year, the citizens of Ukraine who have already had a short-term visa for the purpose of tourism, will be able to receive annual multiple-entry visas, and the citizens who apply for a Schengen visa for the first time, will receive semi-annual double entry visa.
 
Also Poland decided on facilitation of issuance of visas of persons displaced from the territory of Poland and their descendants. These persons can apply for a two-year visas (in the absence of visa history) and a five-year visas (if any) together with the accompanying person/guardian/relative.
 
In addition, finalized the text of the draft agreement on rules of local border movement.
 
The draft agreement is expected to: install the 90-day period of stay within the border zone with the date of each entry; abolishment of fees for issuance of permits for crossing the border for the citizens of Ukraine in the second and subsequent times; the delisting requirements for Ukrainian citizens when crossing the border in the cross border movement of an insurance policy; the inclusion in the list of additional settlements included within the 30-km zone, which were not included in the list before.
 
Let's remind, the US extended visas for Ukrainians to 10 years.
