In the Poltava region Kharkiv archaeologists have found Scythian gold

Kharkiv archaeologists have discovered a sensational find during the study of the Bielski settlement in Kotelevsky district, Poltava region.

 

On the last day of the excavation, they found gold jewelry of the Scythians, who had lain in the earth 2,700 years.

 

In the burial of a Scythian nobleman found about 30 articles made of gold. As the Director of reserve "Bielsko" Igor Korost, for 110 years the excavations on the territory of the settlement there was such a large finds of gold.

 

Found items will be on display in the Museum of archaeology and Ethnography of Kharkiv national University. Karazin.
