Ukraine will hold the "Week of Hungarian culture": program and schedule of events

Embassy of Hungary in Ukraine will organize a large-scale project – the "Week of Hungarian culture". The event will last from October 20 to December 10 in Kyiv.

The programme of activities provided a master class piano lessons for students of National music Academy of Ukraine named after P. I. Tchaikovsky, the famous Hungarian pianist józsef Baloa.

He will also give a piano recital at the National Philharmonic of Ukraine with participation of the Honored academic Symphony orchestra.

Visitors also enjoy the exhibition, which will show the moments of life of Hungarian composer Franz Liszt.

 

 

Hungarian music will also be presented at the opening of the International festival of guitar music "Kiev-2015", which – at the National Philharmonic of Ukraine with a solo concert will feature the young guitarist Andras Chucky.

The Hungarian gastronomy week will be held from 17 to 22 November at the restaurant "Tsarskoye Selo", near the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.

In addition, will be held the sixth festival of "Contemporary cinema of Hungary". In "Kyiv" cinema 5 through November 10 will show the most successful films of past years, among which films the Director Corneille mundruczo the "White God".

A number of programmes, which will last almost two months, will end with the exhibition "the Synagogues of Central and Eastern Europe (1782-1944)", which will be presented in the Hungarian Embassy.

"Hungarian-Ukrainian cultural relations built on old traditions. Frankly our people are open to each other's cultures, it is a strong link between us. Thus we contribute to selected European course of the Ukrainian people, caring for mutual values and dynamic cultural dialogue. We enjoy music, movies each other and, of course, used liberally treat our people," said Brabrand Ambassador of Hungary in Ukraine Erno Keskeny.
