Kyiv day in a new way: disco on the Racetrack and waltz in Sofia

The government, together with the Folk Ukraine project discussed the concept of celebrating the day of Kyiv and told about the plans of "news." "To celebrate the city Day will be three days, from may 29 to may 31. This year's theme: "give Kiev waltz" - says the founder of the Folk Ukraine Igor dobrucki. - So at the Sofia area will have three scenes to 25 sq m each. They will be performing to the accompaniment of a Symphony orchestra representatives of more than 100 schools of ballroom dancing from all over Ukraine (Kiev - 40 schools).

 

This program starts on Friday, and the official opening of the day of Kyiv - Saturday March 30, the hymn of the city - "how you not to love you, Kyiv miy". The festival waltz meant mostly for people aged. While young people will hold a festival of electronic music "Jumps" with a laser show and the end of the world. "We will hold on the capital Hippodrome festival of electronic music called "the Race", says dobrucki. "We are already negotiating with such DJs as Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Chuckie, Oliver Heldens, Afrojack... First, he was held in Trinity square. But this idea was rejected, because there is little space". According to Dobrucki, horses loud music will not be affected, as their plan to relocate at the time of the festival. "Due to the design of the racetrack and the end of the world visitors will have to create the illusion of Saturn's rings," says dobrucki. "We want to make this event a permanent and put it in the top ten of the best electronic music festivals in the world. This will help to increase the tourist attractiveness of the city. However, the entrance to the event will be paid 25-50 USD, and the VIP party with famous DJs - 100 UAH". The project, says the author, will be implemented jointly with the city for investors ' money. Now it is estimated at 10 million USD.
