McDonald's temporarily suspends work in the Crimea.

MOSCOW, April 3. /ITAR-TASS/. Network of fast food restaurants McDonald's temporarily suspends work in the Crimea. About it it is spoken in the message of the company.
 

 
"Due to operational reasons, not dependent on McDonald's, the activity of institutions in Simferopol, Sevastopol and Yalta, was temporarily suspended. We hope we will be able to resume them as soon as such a possibility", - is spoken in the message.
While McDonald's has provided an opportunity for all staff of these institutions to transfer to any other institution network in Ukraine with the preservation of their jobs, wages and prices, the relocation of employees and members of their families on the new place of residence, as well as the provision of housing for the term of 3 months at the company's expense. If the employee network does not agree to such a proposal, it will also be given other options of termination of labor relations with the payment of compensation.
 

 
Just McDonald's laid off about 500 people in the Crimea, most of them intends to look for new jobs on the Peninsula. ITAR-TASS reported retired workers of the company's restaurant in Yalta, the audience (about 40 people) about the closed institutions in the evening on April 3.
The staff of the restaurant in Yalta was about 100 people taking account of employees on maternity leave; in Simferopol worked about 170 people in Sevastopol - 70. In addition, the network was listed as a support staff.
Worked in McDonald's Crimeans received a notice of dismissal for two weeks, the company has provided all required by law, payments, said former company employees. "We have been notified in advance, but until the last moment couldn't believe it, we love our job and it was a great shock for us," said one of the employees.
